Job Summary:
The role of sales assistant is to provide administrative support for business operations in order to increase efficiency and profitability. The primary responsibility will be to provide customer service by answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, maintaining customer records, preparing reports, updating databases, conducting research, and performing other clerical tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and emails from customers or potential buyers regarding product information, pricing, availability, delivery dates, warranty claims, etc.
Schedule meetings between sales representatives and clients/customers.
Maintain accurate records of customer orders, shipments, returns, and payments.
Prepare reports on sales trends, market analysis, customer feedback, and other relevant data.
Update databases with new customer information, order statuses, and product details.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor products, and market demand.
Perform various clerical tasks such as filing documents, organizing files, and typing letters.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
