The Account Payable department's Finance Purchase Order Administrator converts approved requisitions into purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of, compliance with, and efficiency in the procurement process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
What You Can Offer Us
Ensure requisitions are accurate and complete, including necessary details such as items' descriptions, purchasing categories, quantities, prices, and "need by" dates.
Convert approved requisitions into purchase orders in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the applicable service level agreement.
Manage bulk uploads of purchase order requisitions and related data into the financial system.
Assist with preparing financial reports related to requisition-to-purchase order activities.
Support the Accounts Payable team with other tasks as needed.
Implement improvements to current processes to maximize efficiencies.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant experience
1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an accounts payable, finance. or supply chain department.
Financial software and Microsoft Office Suite experience including the ability to perform VLOOKUP and pivot tables required.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong track record of identifying opportunities, problem solving, and delivering results.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
