Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Intern engineer to join our architecture team. The ideal candidate will have strong background in Angular, Spring boot framework and Yeoman, a knack for out-of-the-box thinking, product mindset and desire work in an agile environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, & testing tools and utilities that would enable faster development and migration of microservice and front-end application.

Key Elements of Your Position

You will be part of a dynamic team of experienced architects collaborating on a solution to create tools that help drive our organization forward. You will be partnering with architects, engineers, and analysts to build tools and utilities. You will bring best practices, a track record of fostering partnerships, and an approach that delivers results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and leaders to understand their architectural challenges.
  • Develop hypotheses, convert those into problems and develop solutions in support of a variety of architectural needs.
  • Have open eyes and ears for customer needs, believe in customer delight, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage engineering and analytical capabilities to drive business results.
  • Think creatively to solve complex problems and innovate new solutions.
  • Have product mindset and deliver feature or product, appreciating all vital components of a successful product (backend, frontend, governance, user experience, scalability, etc.).

Potential use cases to provide:

  • Create a tool that auto generate code scaffolds based on the “The Standard” specification and guideline
  • Create tools that scans legacy code and extract information that could help aid in faster modernization of the legacy application.

Qualifications .

Technical Skills

We acknowledge that it is unlikely you hold all we wish for, but we get excited when we meet professionals who have the following:

  • Programming Language: Java, Javascript, Typescript
  • Framework: Angular, Spring boot, Spring, Html5, CSS
  • Tools: Docker, Jenkins, Maven, yeomen, npm
  • Product Development: Agile, SAFe, Jira.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
