JOB SUMMARY:

The Department ofPolitical Science & Legal Administrationat Greensboro College invites applications for an Assistant Professor ofPolitical Sciencefaculty position to begin in August 2025. Possible teaching responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

Judicial Process

Ethics and Professional Legal Responsibility

Constitutional Law

Nations and Nationalism

Comparative Government

Senior Seminar

Other areas of political science expertise are welcome and will be considered. The final teaching assignments will be based on the candidate's academic strengths and previous teaching experience.

The Department of Political Scienceand Legal Administration offers undergraduate majors inPolitical Science and History and Political Science, and minors in Political Science and Legal Administration. The Department of Political Science and Legal Administration offers a traditional on-campus program.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Earned doctorate in Political Science(ABD candidates will be considered provided the degree is successfully completed prior to the start date).

Qualified candidates need to have evidence of successful teaching and research experience.
