The NEED D43 training program is hiring a doctoral trainee for laboratory training at UNC-Chapel Hill. The NEED D43 is an NIH funded training program, administratively housed in the Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases. In this short-term (3-month) position, the temporary will engage in specialized laboratory training to learn techniques for conducting bacterial and viral research relevant to the central America region.
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Must be a current NEED D43 scholar.
Experience with conducting research in international settings.
Laboratory experience.
