Job Description Summary


The Research Coordinator will be required to coordinate the day-to-day operations for several research protocols. He/she will be responsible for the abstraction of complex medical data in order to determine study eligibility.


Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the research coordinator will manage data using different tools, systems and statistical software package and submit protocol modifications and continuing reviews to the IRB as needed, perform literature review, and write reports and sections of grant proposals and manuscripts for publication.


The job will also entail administrative responsibilities that will include organizing and filing research materials, data entry and extraction and proof reading.




Job Description




The Research Coordinator will be responsible for implementing day-to-day operations for health policy data analysis projects and randomized controlled trials. The Research Coordinator will support the research team by completing tasks in a timely basis in order to fulfill project deadlines; this will include leading the development of deliverables (proposals, policy briefs, literature reviews, etc.) to be shared internally and / or externally, and preparing data for analysis. This Research Coordinator will be working with a variety of data sources including private insurer data, Medicare data, and VA data. This person will also work with the Project Manager to manage the data teams and produce the final data reports, tables, and presentation materials to be shared externally. The Research Coordinator will coordinate with the Project Manager to manage IRB protocols, project timelines, and
organize team meetings, including internal meetings and external meetings at project sites. This person may be asked to travel to external sites to participate in study design meetings, to check in on study progress and share analyses. We expect this position to grow to support multiple research projects in the near future as they are funded.

The Department salary range available for this position is $40,000-$45,000.

Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
