Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support Behavioral Health Network with the following:
Providing leadership and supervision to the nurses to ensure the quality care that incorporates the clinical understanding of addiction, dual diagnosis, and related health care issues.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accreditation agency standards.
Effectively directing daily operational functions, including scheduling, admissions, discharges, etc.
Effectively delegating, negotiating, and facilitating problem solving of unit-based issues as needed and providing feedback to team members.
Identifying and addressing complex individual/family needs and system issues in developing a dynamic plan of care.
Considering the impact of cultural differences on care and incorporating culturally sensitive interventions using consultation and resources.
Planning for expected and unexpected changes with and making clinical decisions on complex, challenging individuals.
Empathizing and establishing healthy therapeutic relationships with individuals served.
What are we looking for in a Nurse Manager?
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree(preferred), or Diploma/ Degree in Nursing.
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience (required).
Current license as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration (required).
Ability to understand, empathize and work with an addicted population, including those with co-occurring disorders.
Knowledge of quality assurance and CARF standards.
