Job Description:

Overview



The Vice President of Revenue Management will successfully integrate the synergies between revenue, analysis, sales and distribution channels to drive revenue and profitability of the portfolio and within each hotel. This position will report into the Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management while working closely with operations, analytics, and on property revenue teams to analyze, formulate and deploy appropriate revenue and pricing initiatives. The Vice President of Revenue, in conjunction with Corporate and Regional Revenue teams, is responsible for leading the overall planning, organization, and direction of Revenue Management.



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Strategically engage with appropriate members of the Davidson team to set market appropriate goals and allocate suitable resources and support to exceed those goals.

  • Coordinate with Corporate/Regional team members, as well as on property key individuals, to maximize the resources and tools provided in order to positively influence revenue and profit.

  • Develop relationships with Ownership groups, Asset Managers and key leaders on property to drive overall results.

  • Review current revenue generating practices and tools and provide roadmaps and ongoing support to enhance current opportunities.

  • Continue to enhance processes, tools and strategies to consistently out-perform the market.

  • Leverage the analyst department to assist with data collection and analytics within Davidson Hotels & Resorts, Brand and strategic partners.

  • Engage with online digital partners to identify opportunities, ideas, and strategies to improve online presence, visibility, conversion and revenues.

  • Understands and successfully utilizes the revenue management systems and platforms provided by the brands. (Marriott One Yield Version 2, ROS-Starwood, RMS-Hilton, Prio-Hyatt)


METRICS



  • Monitor performance and manage hotels and company metrics (KPI's, Index, Profitability, Brand compliance, Systems adoption, etc.)

  • Develop and execute initiatives that increase revenue and market share by integrating all revenue resources, including digital, group sales and catering.



  • Develop and utilize advanced analytical models to improve revenue and profitability performance.

  • Review and improve processes and results for ancillary revenues to positively impact total revenue and profit.


LEADERSHIP



  • The Vice President of Revenue must embrace a culture of leadership to inspire, encourage, and hold team members accountable to provide the highest delivery of revenue, profitability and team member satisfaction and engagement.




Qualifications





  • Bachelor Degree preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of previous Revenue Management experience in Hospitality industry required.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience with interpreting data.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Brand Revenue Management Systems and known industry tools.

  • Well organized and detail oriented, with a high sense urgency, accountability and integrity.
