Ensure the effective and efficient facilitation of the demand planning process to enable delivery of a robust monthly DMR (Demand Management Review) within the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process across the 0-24+ month horizon for assigned regions.
Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the Demand Plan aligns with business strategies, Commercial plans, historical performance and statistical modelling
Using exception-based planning to identify issues to improve performance
Collect past/future demand factors, including promotion & event management, from sales & marketing and forecast/model their impacts on demand. Prepare and facilitate the DMRs within your business segments and support other DMRs as required
Ensure output from DMR is a 0-24-month validated and robust volume-based plan, with supporting assumptions, risks and opportunities
Ensure quality of the plan transferred to Supply at the data transfer level (SKU-Location-Month)
Determine and communicate forecast range, with consensus demand, potential upside opportunity and downside risk, to the supply planners.
Develop, monitor and communicate reports on changes and forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement.
Measure, analyze and report key process metrics and monitor adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage the demand plan for new product introductions and end-of-life products to meet customer service requirements and minimize obsolescence & cost
Manage statistical forecast exceptions by utilizing demand-planning exception reports to identify and fix potential issues.
Work with stakeholders on scenarios and contingency plans
Apply data-driven methodologies to forecasting and decision-making processes, ensuring that personal biases or assumptions do not influence demand planning outcomes.
Support the weekly short term forecasting process by balancing short term demand and supply across the 03-month horizon.
Ensure 0-3 months Demand Plan is balanced based on ability to supply and Customer requirements
Review bias, and address material overs / unders
Share summary of demand changes since last cycle
Review and manage outstanding Demand Change Requests (DCR's)
Ensure effective product life cycle management
New Product Introductions
Ensure appropriate demand plans are established for new products and are continually reviewed within the appropriate horizon
Ensure forecast impacts on associated products are appropriately considered
Exits Management
Ensure run out plan is reflected in the Demand Planning systems
Contribute to effective management of the product portfolio by coordinating the removal of products from the demand and supply plans in consultation with Marketing
Ensure that Sales and Customer service have this information as well to prevent exited products from being sold
Contribute to effective Supply Chain outcomes by ensuring strong collaboration between Demand and Supply planning, by communicating and translating risks, opportunities and assumptions into Supply planning.
Contribute to the budget (next three years) planning process by providing insights and validating the demand plan volumes.
Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
Act as a data steward for data owned by Demand Planning, as per the Global Data Governance Policy
Responsible for improvement of data quality for functional components of data subject areas
Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or higher and (3) years of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Production Planning experience
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical capability
General understanding of Sales, Marketing and Portfolio, plus a strong business acumen
