Description:

• 8:00 am - 4:00 pm


• Reporting to the Director of OB/GYN Clinic


• The C.N.A will work closely with the OB/GYN Clinic Nursing staff to provide critical prenatal and follow-up care to uninsured and financially limited women.

Responsibilities:

• Record vital signs, take medical histories, and report any changes to the nursing staff.

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.


• Clean and prep examination rooms before and after patient visits.


• Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling phone calls.


• Other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• Bilingual: Spanish is required


• Certification as a nursing assistant by the Maryland Board of Nursing


• High school diploma or GED


• AHA BLS certification


• Current knowledge of nursing skills within their scope of practice.


• Computer and audiovisual skills using various applications and technologies: Internet, email, word processing, wireless phone, pager.


• Ability to obtain and retrieve data.


• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize, ability to work well with individuals and groups.

Pay rate: $17.58 - $23.85


Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
