The Creative Analyst, Visual Designer works within brand guidelines to create video assets and other digital products for course design and related initiatives.


The chosen candidate for this position will design multimedia assets for courses, modular lessons, and downloadable resources that meet subject matter learning objectives for teachers and school leaders. The candidate is expected to draw upon the strengths of the existing team, contribute new ideas for product enhancements, and remain focused on quality and consistency.

  • Manages Production team's asset repository while also licensing and sourcing image and video assets

  • Collaborates with IDs, SMEs, contractors, and relevant stakeholders

  • Manages multiple projects and strategizes deadlines

  • Produces and edits video and graphic resources for accuracy, clarity, creativity, and K12 brand alignment

  • Leverages content-building tools to create media (one-pagers, videos, etc.) that is integrated into online courses that are both responsive and accessible;

  • Schedules regular meetings with subject matter experts to discuss needs and next steps regarding content for course development;

  • Adheres to roadmap timelines;

  • Consults with the rest of the team to discuss standards and consistency of content, style, visuals, and PDFs that are coordinated across courses, units, and lessons;

  • Conducts accessibility testing of courses and related resources to ensure the content can be utilized by learners of all abilities;

  • Seeks to continue growing and developing by staying appraised of current research and new visual design applications in the field.




Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.



MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



Certificates and Licenses: None required



OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Two (2) years of experience in instructional design, visual design, graphic design, UX/UI design, video production, or related field

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Premiere Pro

  • Proficiency in WCAG guidelines and accessibility alignment

  • Knowledge of Monday.com workflow management platform

  • Strong technology and writing skills that lead to a "learner focus" by using media and design techniques to meet deadlines with creativity, independence, and high standards

  • Demonstrated ability to establish objectives, identify problems, analyze data and creatively deliver solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on large-scale projects and adapt to new environments and meet new challenges head-on

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.

  • Ability to clear required background check




DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Graduate degree and/or 2+ years of experience in adult learning/andragogy

  • Experience in DominKnow or another ID e-learning authoring tool (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, etc.) is preferred. Experience building inside a platform like WordPress will also suffice.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.


  • We anticipate the salary range to be $54,713.25 to $87,541.20. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
