Job Summary
The Community Liaison is responsible for meeting an international nurse, and their family, at the airport, assisting them to get settled in their apartment, utility set-up (if applicable), applying for an SSN(Social Security Number), pre-employment appointments, shopping, etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate the integration of international nurses into the local community.
- Provide cultural orientation and support to help international nurses adapt to the local customs, traditions, and healthcare practices.
- Assist international nurses in understanding and aligning with local regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards.
- Address any concerns or challenges faced by international nurses and act as an advocate on their behalf.
- Coordinate social events and activities to promote networking and interaction between international nurses and the local community.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the international nurses' community integration activities and progress.
- Stay updated on immigration laws, visa requirements, and other relevant policies affecting international nurses.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree plus 2-5 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4-7 years of work experience
Additional Experience
- Must have excellent customer service experience combined with strong detail orientation and organizational skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- We provide the Community Liaison with a rental car/van during their services
- All applicants must be at least 25 years old, due to the company's rental car insurance policy
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$15.00 - $17.75 Hourly
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
