About the Role
As our Senior Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping ArtLifting’s future by leading our Sales team to achieve and exceed ambitious revenue goals. You will craft and execute a long-term sales strategy designed to drive sustainable growth, scale impactful processes, and create measurable social impact, all while aligning with our vision to transform lives through art.
Your strategic focus will include growing recurring revenue, increasing average deal size, cultivating multi-million-dollar accounts, and leveraging automation for operational efficiency. In this leadership role, you will inspire, coach, and manage a remote team of Art Advisors, guiding them through account strategy, business development, and sales execution in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Leadership and Operational Excellence
Lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales team of 6–10 direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and motivate the team to achieve sales targets, grow professionally, and contribute to the company’s mission and social impact.
Develop and optimize team tools, workflows, and documentation to enable efficient and consistent sales execution.
Design and implement a training program to ensure the team is equipped for individual success and aligned with company goals.
Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and team effectiveness.
Manage the Sales team budget, allocate resources strategically, and maintain accurate revenue forecasts.
Oversee quota and account coverage planning to align resources with business objectives.
Work with senior leadership on long-term strategy and planning and provide direction on goals, objectives, and issue resolution related to our mission and social impact.
Data and Insights
Participate in the creation and enhancement of data capture infrastructure to ensure reliable collection of sales, market, and customer data.
Participate in competitor and market analysis to refine the sales playbook and inform strategy.
Define and track key sales metrics to monitor performance and align with business objectives.
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and concerns, delivering actionable insights to the Sales team and senior leadership.
Leverage data to guide decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and improve sales performance.
Sales Strategy
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new business and grow sales with existing clients.
Create and maintain a sales playbook with clear targets, positioning, and objection-handling tactics tailored to key verticals and buyer personas.
Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments on goal setting, business strategies, and problem-solving to expand the sales pipeline, improve funnel efficiency, and increase our social impact.
Stay informed on market trends, client feedback, and industry needs to influence product development and positioning.
Account Management
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with high-value clients and prospects, serving as a trusted advisor.
Negotiate and review agreements to ensure favorable terms and successful client engagements.
Address client challenges with tailored solutions, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Represent ArtLifting at industry events to build networks and identify growth opportunities.
About You
We are seeking an inspiring, results-driven leader with a proven track record in enterprise B2B sales and a passion for making a social impact. Your strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to lead high-performing, inclusive teams will drive ArtLifting’s growth.
What You Bring:
Sales Expertise: Significant experience in enterprise B2B sales and business development, with a focus on recurring revenue, strategic growth, and achieving multi-million-dollar goals through quotas and KPIs.
Team Leadership and People Management: Proven ability to build, coach, and manage diverse sales teams of 6+ people, including remote teams, while fostering collaboration and accountability.
Strategic Vision: Expertise in go-to-market strategies, sales playbooks, market analysis, and scaling revenue through cross-functional collaboration.
Operational Excellence: Demonstrated success in designing sales processes, managing forecasts, conducting business reviews, and tracking metrics to drive results.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Apollo, Co-Star, Asana, Google Suite, and ChatGPT.
Communication: A clear and compelling communicator with experience engaging diverse stakeholders and producing high-quality, detail-oriented work.
Adaptability: Resourceful and analytical problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments.

Compensation
New Hire in Senior Director of Sales Role
Total On Target Earnings is $190,000 - $210,000. This is made up of base pay and variable pay. The base pay range for this position is $140,000 – $160,000 annually. The variable pay opportunity for this position is up to $50,000 annually.
Total Earnings Opportunity with Stretch Goal Achievement: $204,000 - $226,000. This is made up of base pay and variable pay as described above plus a stretch variable pay opportunity. For 2025, the additional stretch variable pay opportunity for this position is $14,000 – $16,000 annually for achieving stretch revenue goals.
Equity: Stock options available.
Compensation Growth Opportunity
Compensation can increase through sustained strong performance. Senior Directors can earn up to $190,000 in annual base pay and up to $55,000 in annual variable pay (excluding stretch variable pay).
Additional growth is possible through promotion.
Please note your variable pay opportunities in 2025 will be prorated based on your start month. Compensation is determined based on experience and alignment with hiring criteria, with a negotiation-free offer process to ensure equity and transparency.
