Pet Bather & Brusher

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! full or Part-time. Crescent Beach area. This is a physical job. Must love dogs, be able to stand through shift, bend, squat, lift up to 40#. Job includes, but not limited to: washing, brushing, drying dogs; keeping a clean environment. Must be upbeat, team player, reliable with good transportation. Able to work any days, including weekends, no major holiday work. Please include any past work experience.

Starting pay rate is $14.00 an hour with no experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groomer Assistant to support our grooming team in providing exceptional care and grooming services for pets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist groomers with the preparation and grooming of pets, including bathing, drying, brushing, and nail trimming.
• Gently handle pets to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming sessions.
• Clean and maintain grooming equipment, workstations, and common areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Monitor pets for signs of stress, discomfort, or health issues and report concerns to the groomer or supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pet's needs, behavior, and grooming services.
• Maintain accurate records of grooming services provided and client preferences.
• Support the team in managing appointments and schedules as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with animals in a grooming, veterinary, or shelter environment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Basic knowledge of pet care and grooming techniques is preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

• Comfortable working in a noisy and fast-paced setting.
• Exposure to pet hair, dander, and cleaning products.
