Provides administrative and financial support for the Office of Major Fellowships. Performs reception and administrative support, manages accounts payable/receivable, assists with purchasing and workflow management, . Serves as backup as needed for the CU Honors College. Performs others duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - Record and Document Management: Manages student record tracking for the Office of Major Fellowships. Verifies student fellowship progress through iROAR and other university tracking systems, and communicates directly with the student and OMF administration on progress updates. Acts as the staff liasion for university faculty and staff partners for supporting documents for student fellowships and awards. Manages the fellowships listserv and responds to basic fellowship questions or concerns.
25% - Essential - Administrative/Reception Support: Provides reception support, student support and visitor support for the Office of Major Fellowships. Assists with answering phone calls and directs appropriately. Greets current students and assists with the coordination of student advising appointments. Manages the fellowships listserv and responds to basic information. Provides general administrative support to the director and assistant director. Performs special projects as needed assigned by the Honors business manager.
20% - Essential - Financial Support: Pays all recurring and individual bills on behalf of the department ensuring compliance with State and Clemson University guidelines. Creates requisitions through buyWays, including direct purchases, payment request forms, procurement certifications, and sole sources. Releases requisitions created by other staff/faculty members. Completes faculty, staff, students, and non-employees' reimbursements (general and travel). Serves as primary point of contact for department and vendors for items related to provided financial services.
15% - Essential - Peard Liaison: Serves as the OMF department's pcard liaison. Communicates with staff and faculty to obtain necessary backup ahead of University deadlines. Compiles and upload receipts from departmental card holders. Allocates charges to appropriate account and project codes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience - 1+ years of relevant experience
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Associate's Degree Experience - 3 years of reelvant experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
