Position Summary
The Compliance Data Integrity Specialist will be responsible for learning, comprehending, and partnering with various lines of business to adhere to regulatory requirements related Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and data collection within the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), as well as the impending 1071 Small Business data collection requirements. The successful individual will have the ability to translate how processes create the data used to adhere to the requirements, have initiative, express curiosity with information presented and are comfortable with asking questions to fully understand work conducted and processes presented.
What You’ll Do
Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge of the requirements of business processes, technology and the various consumer-based laws, regulations, and rulings within scope of the Compliance team. Keep abreast of regulatory updates through reading, classes, seminars, etc.
Follow the Compliance Testing Methodology to conduct Data Integrity reviews for HMDA, CRA, and eventually 1071 compliance.
Discuss potential issues with the Business lead, supports the business in identifying root cause, provide effective challenge to the plan to resolve the issues and provide corrective action if appropriate.
Report results to management and maintains data in the Enterprise Risk Management system.
Exhibit superior time management skills (measured by deadlines and quality of progress and reviews completed).
Maintain confidentiality of information and protects Consumer and Bank sensitive information and materials.
Participate in project work as needed.
Qualifications
1-2 years of HMDA/CRA Small Business Reporting experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity and experience with CRA Wiz, Encompass or nCino a plus.
