Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Use 3-D Modeling software to create new detail drawings and revise existing drawings from verbal and/or written instructions


• Use 2-D Drafting software to create new detail drawings and revise existing drawings from verbal and/or written instructions


• Develop 3-D solid models to support current product initiatives, modifications and new product development


• Develop design layouts and detailed sketches to assist Design, Product and Research Engineers


• Prepare and release drawings, documents and Engineering change notices and perform other duties as assigned

• 2-year college degree and/or technical training in the mechanical design/drafting field


• 3 to 5 years drafting experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical parts


• Certified and trained AutoCAD® user capable of creating 2-D mechanical detail drawings


• Certified and trained PTC® Creo user capable of creating 3-D models and detail drawings


• Working knowledge and ability to use Microsoft 365 Office products and SAP® enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
