SUMMARY
Provides supervision for the nutritional care of all participants and act as consultant to other health care professionals in determining the best nutritional care options for participants. Provide leadership and direction to the Nutrition Department of Registered Dietitians and Food Service Associates. Responsible for the daily operation of the PACE Center Kitchens, complete responsibility for the entire food service operation across multiple facilities and multiple dining rooms in regard to food service, sanitation, production area operations, purchasing and receiving of food supplies.

ATTRIBUTES
Bachelor's degree required
Registered Academy of Nutrition Dietetics (A.N.D.) Dietitian
2 years leadership experience preferred
4 years of experience as registered dietitian required
Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills
1 year experience working with frail elderly population preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Uses all supervisory tools and policies to assure that all staff members know, understand and are following all procedures necessary to meet or exceed expectations.
Leadership of Registered Dietitian and Food Service Associate Team Members. Supervises work assignments and/or provides assignments to other members of the team, providing oversight and support as necessary. Mentors and trains new employees to help them reach the standards of the department. Demonstrates competency in providing nutrition care to all Adult and Geriatric patient population.
Wellness Coordination. Create programs that promote a healthy lifestyle; assume responsibility for the oversight, management and completion of the facility's community service plan as outlined by the state of New York and in conjunction with Wayne County
Food Service, Kitchen Operations. Oversees all operations of food service including staffing, sanitation, storage of supplies, food quality and presentation. Observes, inspects and works in, as needed, each food area to assure all food service specifications are met.
Financial Responsibilities. Operates department within stated financial guidelines making decisions which serve the best interest of the customer.
EDUCATION:
BS: Dietetics (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
PAY RANGE: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
