SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our software solutions that serve both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital transformation within the oil & gas industry, with a specific focus on integrating comprehensive transactional capabilities across operations, finance, and customer KPIs, alongside robust analytics functionalities.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for digital solutions that address the needs of internal teams and external clients.
Ensure that product goals align with business objectives and market requirements, focusing on comprehensive transaction handling and analytics.
2. Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with various departments, including laboratory, finance, operations, and customer support, to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations effectively.
3. Product Development:
Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept through launch and ongoing enhancements.
Prioritize features and functionalities based on user feedback, market trends, and strategic business priorities.
Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
4. Data and Analytics:
Drive the integration of transactional capabilities across operations, finance, and customer KPIs into the product.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity, leveraging advanced analytics to provide actionable insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor product performance and user engagement.
5. User Experience:
Champion an excellent user experience, ensuring the product is intuitive, user-friendly, and meets high standards of usability.
Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and iterate on product features.
6. Market Analysis:
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
7. Performance Metrics:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform continuous improvement.
Analyze product performance data to make informed, data-driven decisions for product enhancements.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
Proven experience managing digital products with transactional and analytics capabilities across operations, finance, and customer metrics.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development processes and data analytics.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Strategic thinker with a track record of translating business needs into innovative product solutions.
Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies.
