Overview
The purpose of this position is to provide Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment services to children with suspect and diagnosed developmental disabilities, neuromuscular and orthopedic impairments, and special health care needs at the Eugene office of the Institute on Development and Disability, Child Development and Rehabilitation Center/Oregon Health and Science University under the immediate supervision of the CDRC Eugene Clinical Director and the IDD Occupational Therapy Discipline Director. This position replaces a staff person with senior skills, particularly in oral-motor & sensory feeding and infant development. The individual in this position may provide indirect educational experiences to pre-occupational therapy students from the University of Oregon and direct training for Occupational Therapy Interns or Occupational Therapy Assistant students who are completing requirements for Licensure or Certification.

Responsibilities
Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy educational program that is recognized by the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board
BLS Certification
Current (or eligible to obtain)Limited Permit or Oregon occupational therapy license.
Qualifications
Graduate degree or higher.
Three years’ experience in medically based occupational therapy treatment setting providing assessment and treatment services to children and youth with varied developmental disabilities (including oral-motor & sensory feeding and infant development).
