The Health Sciences Business Development Director is responsible for the growth and advancement of strategic business development initiatives for the health sciences group within CTEH, LLC with a primary focus on developing relationships within the legal and risk management practice areas. The HS Business Development Director will recognize and solicit opportunities with existing clients and further establish and develop relationships with new clients. While the successful applicant will work directly with subject matter experts in the fields of toxicology, industrial hygiene, epidemiology, and/or public health, they themselves should have intimate familiarity with experience in the environmental and/or occupational legal arenas. The HS Business Development Director will also be expected to work collaboratively with other sales and marketing groups within CTEH. The successful HS Business Development Director will be expected to travel on a regular basis for client meetings.

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
The successful HS Business Development Director will work as part of a team to perform the following:
Develop and maintain relationships targeted at strategic growth and development of opportunities for CTEH.
Works with Marketing Team to develop and deliver client outreach material.
Maintains and refines client relationship manager (CRM) with all leads, opportunities, prospects, customers, to track metrics and share analytics and insight with departmental senior staff.
Makes sales and marketing calls to existing and new clients.
Develops and implements creative sales and marketing techniques for HS business.Attends conferences, trade shows, and industry meetings for the purposes of marketing the Health Sciences Group.
Contributes to strategy development processes for organic growth with HS business.
Conducts and supports client engagement activities to strengthen CTEH's relationships with its clients and increase the understanding of client needs.
Grow the sales pipeline through the identification and qualification of new business opportunities that are consistent with the strategic priorities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CREDENTIALS
To perform in the role of HS Business Development Director, the candidate would have the following:
A bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or other related science field (required)
A Juris Doctor (JD) or considerable experience in the legal or risk management marketing fields.
At least 2 years of experience in their respective fields with demonstrated sales or client outreach efforts.
Proficient with CRM Software and Microsoft Office Suite
