We are looking for a new Sales Manager to own and manage the part of our Mid-West region around Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Iowa. You will have multiple products and brands through various sales and distribution channels. Sales Managers own the full sales process from business development, generating leads, building relationships with current customers, attending industry trade shows, call and visit customers - you own it all! And at the end of the day, you'll have worked with great people to make a positive impact on people's well-being and on our planet. Internally, we call this position Territory Representative.

Sales Manager Pay Range: $74,000 - $95,000 base, depending on experience. In addition, sales bonus based on performance.

Core Contributions:


  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed territory sales revenue forecasts by identifying, prospecting, selling, and closing new projects and accounts.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage both inside and outside the company, targeting architects, contractors, sub-contractors, dealers, and re-sellers for multiple products and brands.
  • Growing Markets: There is large opportunity to grow our business with A&D firms, schools, and hospitality customers.
  • Relationship Management: Manage and develop relationships with existing sales and distribution channels. At least 50% travel needed to meet with customers in person.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate customer and account requirements for both existing and new customers to the customer service group.
  • Market Analysis: Regularly report on selling, customer and territory activities, market trends, growth strategies, and competitive insights.
  • Project Support: Contribute to special projects, including product launches, warehousing, customer pricing models, sales reporting, and new product development.
  • Trade Shows: Participate and work at national trade shows, including setup, teardown, show management, sales, customer interactions, and lead follow-up.
  • System Tools: Manage the Salesforce.com database to prospect, qualify, and sell projects while maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders in projects.

Essential Experiences:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in outside sales territory management
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the flooring, building materials, or related products preferred
  • Market Knowledge: Experience selling to A&D firms, schools, hospitality, or within the fitness, health, or wellness industry preferred
  • This position will require travel for outside selling in the assigned territory and some national travel to trades shows
