Hays Facilities Management are partnered with a leading Facilities Services company to hire a Chief Operating Engineer in Arlington, VA.


Your new role


The job duties of the Chief Engineer will include the following:


- Oversight of all building maintenance activities at the site (MEP)


- Manage Building Engineer staff


- Produce and execute on Preventive Maintenance


- Act as a liaison between the company and the end client


What you'll need to succeed


The ideal candidate will possess the following:


- Prior experience at the Chief level is highly preferred


- Knowledge of local building codes/regulations


- Ability to respond to emergencies as needed


- Formal technical training/schooling/certifications, all highly preferred


What you'll get in return


Hourly between $50-55; benefits
