Volt is immediately hiring a Compliance Manager near Brimfield, IL.
As a Compliance Manager you will:
Establish and maintain compliance to a variety of regulations related to the sale of good to customers around the globe: CBAM, REACH, BIS, tariff codes, country of origin, USMCA, OFAC sanctions, and others as they arise
Meet customer expectations related to the provision of information they need to be compliant to a specified range of legal doctrines
Create processes to gather and store data as needed
Ensure a safe working environment
Ensure proper application of company policy
Manage design costs and manufacturability
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelor's degree in Business - Juris Doctor (JD) also considered
4-10 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Experience with a variety of regulatory issues
Basic understanding of heavy equipment parts sales
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Strong understanding of Excel
Competencies in the following areas:
Reading and understanding complex compliance regulations and how they affect the client legally and commercially
Project management with indirect leadership to implement data gathering and reporting where needed
Contextualizing legal concepts within the commercial reality
Salary:$100K - $120K/ per year
