ATA Services Inc. is currently seeking to hire an experienced Health Educator to work on a temporary assignment with the State of New Mexico Department of Health.
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $23.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm
Work Location: In-office Las Cruces, NM
The ideal Health Educator assisting with the Adult Vaccine Team will:
Assist with Flu, Covid, and other Adult Vaccine orders requested by Adult Vaccine Providers in NM.
They will assist the Vaccine and Outreach Manager with other assigned tasks and duties.
Creating newsletters and other outreach materials surrounding vaccines.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be proficient in Office Suite; and highly knowledgeable in Excel.
Have knowledge of medical terminology, requesting of medical records/medical information in verbal/written formats and HIPAA Compliance.
Be dedicated, reliable, and able to handle a high volume of data with multiple tasks of varied priority.
Be able to respond quickly to instructions given from staff while maintaining confidentiality of client’s files/records/charts/PHI.
Have customer service knowledge and experience.
Bilingual communications in English and Spanish (not required but would be helpful)
Maintain flexibility and a positive attitude with tasks as they may change throughout the day.
Have excellent written/verbal communication skills to efficiently communicate with internal/external staff.
