We are seeking an experienced Vibration Specialis (ISO CAT III )t to join our vibration team, playing a critical role in ensuring the operational excellence of rotating and mechanical equipment within the Pulp & Paper industry. This position will be responsible for ensuring adherence to offline vibration monitoring routes, conducting in-depth analyses of online monitoring data, and preparing detailed reports and technical studies as requested by the customer.
The Vibration Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact with the customer, providing regular updates on the condition of rotary equipment and addressing specific concerns. The role involves diagnosing issues such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing failures, and other potential failure modes. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate closely with maintenance and reliability teams to develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies tailored to the demands of the Pulp & Paper industry.
This role requires advanced skills in vibration diagnostics, the ability to create comprehensive technical reports, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving equipment reliability challenges, all aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring minimal downtime.
Level of Education & Knowledge:
Certification in Vibration Analysis: ISO CAT III
Proficiency with SKF software and vibration data collectors.
Experience & Technical Skills:
Substantial relevant work experience and Vibration Certification will also be considered.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Vibration Analyst.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in vibration analysis within the Pulp & Paper industry.
At least 4 years of maintenance-related experience in the Pulp & Paper industry.
SAP experience, particularly in Plant Maintenance modules
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to safety and health practices relevant to the Pulp & Paper industry.
Solid understanding of mechanical and rotating equipment standards specific to the Pulp & Paper industry.
Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation associated with mechanical equipment.
Experience in executing and managing preventive maintenance plans.
Capability to develop and deliver detailed vibration analysis reports.
