Job Description:

JOB DUTIES:
•Administer, manage, and provide support staff for campgrounds, groundskeeping maintenance, trail development, education building, and aquarium.
•Utility and infrastructure operations, grounds/trail maintenance and aquarium care.
•Oversee the maintenance and oversite of the Lied bridge
•Maintenance, operation, and ordering of tools, materials, and equipment.
•Coordinate with regional horticulture team to survey and maintain tree inventory
•Lead and communicate with the community and public in the efforts of park development and promotion.
•Assist with and lead special events and nature education.
•Hire, train, and supervise seasonal staff.
•Collect data, maintain records, prepare reports, collect fees, ensure staff/visitor safety.
•Communicate effectively with two park operations and supervisors.
•Other duties as required.

Requirements/ Qualification
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in park/recreation management or a related field; (wildlife, fisheries, natural resources sciences, public administration, history, cultural resource preservation or interpretation, travel and tourism, and planning) AND two years related experience including one year in a supervisory or lead worker capacity. Related coursework/training and/or experience in park/recreation management or related field may substitute for the Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Valid driver's license.
