We are seeking an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or Master-level student, working towards a degree in chemical engineering or related field, for a 12-week Student Intern role in Durham, NC for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
Engage in process modeling for capsule filling, contributing to developing an end-to-end AI-powered digital twin for inhaled biologics.
Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings.
Collect data and present project findings at the end of the internship period.
Position Requirements:
Undergraduate sophomore, junior, or Master-level student, working towards a degree in chemical engineering or related field. **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
Relevant engineering coursework completed.
An interest in the pharmaceutical industry.
Software exposure to Aspen Plus or GProms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
Applicants must have work authorization that does not, now or in the future, require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status).
Ability to report onsite to Durham, NC five days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
