RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AP Supervisor in Rockville, MD.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and oversee the accounts payable team. The AP Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role will work closely with cross-functional departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Payment Scheduling: Manage the payment process, ensuring that payments are made in accordance with terms and deadlines, and reconcile payments to vendor accounts

  • Reconciliation: Ensure accurate reconciliation of vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare monthly accounts payable reports and analysis

  • Audit Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable process; Implement best practices and automation solutions where applicable

  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports for senior management on accounts payable metrics, including aging reports, payment schedules, and vendor analysis

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth transactions and resolve issues

  • Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring that all accounts payable transactions are properly recorded and reconciled







REQUIREMENTS:



  • At least 2 years of management experience

  • Experience working in Coupa






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
