Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Fremont, CA that is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer. Come and join the Kforce family, and support engineers by transforming engineering ideas to high quality CAD models.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed assembly 3D models and 2D drawings for large equipment


• Generate part drawings for machine shops and equipment building vendors following engineering standards


• Vigilantly track redlines and modifications, ensuring the accuracy of digital twins for all equipment and machinery


• Use CAD models to create detailed BOMs for equipment to ensure both BOM and CAD models are up to date


• Maintain teamwide PDM/PLM system


• Sustain macros and templates to improve team workflow and efficiency

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering


• SolidWorks expertise


• ANSYS/Abacus experience


• Advanced Modeling experience


• Simulation experience


• Design Validation experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
