The Department of Biology at New York University invites applications foraVisiting Clinical Assistant Professor (non tenure-track). The initial appointment will begin on September 1, 2025, renewable annually for a maximum of three years, pending administrative and budgetary approval. Renewal for the subsequent academic years will be discussed and submitted for administrative approval, if appropriate, during the Spring semester.
Pay Transparency Statement
In compliance with NYCs Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $75,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
Qualifications:
TheDepartment of Biologyoffers an outstanding and collegial environment for research and teaching. We seek a scholar with the ability to teach quantitative and computational biology courses - including at least one biostatistics course with extensive use of R or an equivalent programming language. Applicants should hold a PhD and have teaching experience; postdoctoral research experience is preferred.
