Litigation Paralegal at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Orlando, Florida

Job Description:

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a defense firm in Orlando, FL. The Litigation Paralegal will manage various litigation files from start to finish. This opportunity is direct hire, full-time, and hybrid after the training period.



Essential Job Functions:

• Provide litigation support for defense cases


• Assist with the preparation and electronic filing of pleadings and discovery


• Analyze, review, and organize documents and data produced during discovery


• Prepare document production, responses to discovery requests, and deposition summaries


• Prepare records and deposition subpoenas


• Manage a caseload efficiently to meet billable hour requirements (around 1500 hours annually)


• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)


• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines


• Familiarity with State and Federal Courts, including filing procedures


• Experienced in electronic document discovery and database management


• Knowledgeable in discovery tasks and trial preparation


• Proficient in litigation software

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience


• Paralegal certification preferred


• Minimum of three years of litigation paralegal experience


• Defense civil litigation experience preferred

Compensation:

• Up to $70,000 annually

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Hybrid work arrangement after training period


• Ability to work extended hours when necessary


• Standard office environment
