Job Title:Extension Educators Coordinator 3 - Harrison CountyDepartment:FAES | Tuscarawas County

This position is located in Harrison County, Cadiz, Ohio. This position will include evenings and weekends.



This position will work closely with the Harrison County 4-H Youth Development, Ag/Natural Resources and Family and Consumer Sciences educators to help meet the identified education needs of county clientele.



Under the direction of county educators, use formal and informal needs assessments to help determine education needs of county clientele. Teach in a variety of community settings using approved curricula and teaching materials. Use evaluation instruments to record program participants' demographics and knowledge gains. Collaborate with local agencies, organizations, individuals, and groups to recruit youth and adults for educational programs. Provide office coverage as necessary. Participate in staff development and other training opportunities to enhance one's knowledge of programming and program areas.



Ability to use computer for email, word processing, social media sites, and on-line searches; good communication and problem solving; ability to teach youth and adults, including older adults, in various settings; ability to work collaboratively on teams or more independently with minimum of supervision; ability to communicate and collaborate with local individuals or groups of clientele, and agency representatives; flexible and adaptive to changes in audience, programs, scheduling, and etc.



Typically the job involves sitting, standing, or walking; a maximum occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds. At time of hire, the successful candidate must possess a current valid state Motor Vehicle Operator's License.




Before start date, the successful candidate must pass a BCI/FBI background check.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.



The pay range for this profile is $16.49 -$21.69/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
