Job Title:Research Assistant 2Department:Medicine | IM Hematology

Research Assistant in the Multiple Myeloma Research Laboratory performs independent standard cell biology laboratory techniques including mammalian cell culture, DNA, RNA and protein extraction, etc




Duties Include:




  • Prepares solutions and reagents




  • Executes designated experiments




  • Translates and interprets data to communicate experimental results to Principal Investigator




  • Assists in judging the validity of data




  • Maintains accurate and detailed notes




  • Writes research progress reports




  • Maintains quality lab environment including cleanup and organization




  • Perform other duties as assigned.






Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.




  • 2-3 years of relevant experience strongly preferred.
