Job Title:Research Administration Management AssociateDepartment:Social Work | Faculty Affairs

The Research Administration Management Associate Supports the Project Director of BRIDGE2Health (B2H), Director of Center for Intergenerational Research and Practice (CIRP), and College of Social Work (CSW) Director of Faculty Development (DFD).



Supports the Director and B2H team members in conjunction with B2H, CIRP, and DFD initiatives. Provides research and DFD project support, including, but not limited to, day-to-day research project management and project coordination. Collaborates with faculty, B2H site partners, and researchers to identify funding opportunities and develop and implement research programs. Supports faculty with IRB management, budget management, hiring, financial management, compliance assurance, and general project management.


Supports DFD initiatives by building communications and file sharing channels, scheduling and documenting meetings, and supporting action items for varied DFD initiatives. Supports the faculty awards and honors initiative by maintaining the faculty awards and honors catalogue, building resources for faculty nominations, supporting nomination/application efforts, and tracking nominations/applications and outcomes.



Provides logistical support. Manages Director's calendar and schedule, and meeting arrangements, including those chaired by the Director. Coordinates travel arrangements and meetings and meeting materials for Director and for visiting scholar/speakers including itinerary and logistical details.




Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.




Desired Qualifications


1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.




Salary range is $43,900 to $57,750. The actual salary will fall within this range based on the candidate's qualifications, internal equity, and the unit's available budget.




Responsibilities


Faculty research support



  • Provide the Director and B2H and CIRP-affiliated researchers and partners with research project support, including, but not limited to, day-to-day research project management, data collection (including recruitment), and coordination

  • Work with faculty, researchers, and centers to identify funding opportunities


Faculty Development general support



  • Manage faculty awards and honors initiative

  • Support DFD workgroups related to faculty development initiatives

  • Manage the Director's calendar

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and meetings/materials for the Director and for visiting scholar/speakers including itinerary and logistical details
