Shift: Flexible 1 shift 7:30 am to 5 pm

Job Summary:

Under administrative direction, develops, maintains and optimizes operational tools, workflows, and processes in support of department leaders, strategies and goals. In coordination with the department leaders and physicians supports ongoing project and workgroup efforts in order to aid in the achievement of performance metrics, program growth and quality initiatives. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare or project coordination is required.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare is preferred.

Preferably experience in a Magnet level system.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, an Associate degree with 2 years of relevant experience.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience in implementing and managing projects or processes.

Demonstrated skill assisting with change management efforts and effective collaboration with physicians, leaders and other team members.

A successful record of accomplishment in moving projects/initiatives forward to completion and proven ability to turn ambiguity into results.

Understanding or desire to understand Care Management and Social Services operations.

Strong office and project organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.

Self-motivated, independent thinker. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.
