This position is within the Genetic Sciences Division (GSD) a division of the Life Sciences Group. Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic Product Manager with a passion for software? This role will be pivotal in driving software product strategies across our range of dPCR products. The Sr software product manager will be primarily responsible for our dPCR software product solutions.
The role will require strong collaboration skills and understanding of how to succeed in a matrixed environment. You will help drive our product strategy and release process, define the marketing strategies, and develop the product positioning.
A day in Life
Develop and manage product roadmaps - develop and align customer requirements into clear multi-year roadmaps based on customer insights and market data
Participate in new product development programs and build strong connections with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer needs.
Support software R&D in finding the right solutions to problems by evaluating ideas in terms of value, customer perspective, and risks.
Create the value proposition for innovative software solutions, new product ideas, and new business models. Validate those with the market.
Collaborate with marketing to develop the Go-to-market strategy, including product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies.
Ensure product vitality by leading sustaining activities such as patch releases, and product communication.
Support business with direct customer interaction, commercial and technical presentations, and collateral.
Keys to Success
Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, life science, computer science, or equivalent.
Master's, or PhD degree preferred.
Experience
7+ years of experience in product management preferred.
Strong software background.
Understanding of life sciences, genomics, molecular biology, and/or dPCR technology desirable.
Proven experience in delivering software products, roadmap ownership, and execution of complex projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage the lifecycle of a complex mature software portfolio.
Experience in interacting with highly technical customers and customer groups.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and influencing skills
Strong drive for results and ability to work within a diverse, cross-functional, and multi-cultural team across multiple sites.
Ability to plan, implement, and measure with a strong sense of urgency to achieve results.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $155,900.00-$215,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
