Responsibilities
The Senior IT Project Manager Scrum Master is responsible for driving technical project delivery across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects while ensuring the effective implementation of Agile methodologies.
Project Management:
Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes.
Ensure deliverables meet standards of quality and performance.
Scrum Master:
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.
Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor burndown and velocity to drive productivity and predictable delivery.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Ensure alignment between project goals and business objectives.
Collaborate with our Center of Excellence, inter-department peers, and technology teams to ensure corporate goals and IT goals are aligned.
Qualifications
Experience: 6-10 years of experience in IT project management.
Education: BS/BA degree preferably in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Additional Role Specific Skills:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
PMP certification is a plus.
