Job Description:
Overview
Provides administrative support to the Human Resource Department. Manages numerous HR related programs in addition to administrative duties. The role allows considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment while performing complex and confidential administrative duties. This position requires outstanding communication and interpersonal skill as the candidate is frequently the “face” of the organization to vendors and employees.
Responsibilities
Administer the following processes and programs:
Relocation process,
Scholarship Program,
Education Reimbursement Program,
Service Award Program,
Employee Matching Charitable Contribution Program,
HR SharePoint Site,
Organizational Charts,
Assist with other special programs or projects as required.
Plans, schedules and manages calendars, meetings, conferences and travel as needed for the HR management and HR executive.
Responsible for maintaining an organized filing system both electronic and paper.
Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms and documents.
Process HR Related invoices.
Support the Recruiting department as needed including, but not limited to New Hire Orientation and Onboarding.
Answers phones that are forwarded from HR department staff.
Assist with other centralized transactional items for HR team as required.
Qualifications
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Ability to interact and communicate well with all levels of management.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and confidential information.
Organized, detail-oriented and accurate.
Good analytical and problems-solving skills.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and personal computer.
Knowledge and use of computer software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Outlook Mail.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; High School diploma required
Experience:
Experience in an HR department or relative experience is not required, but a plus.
