Leads an experienced team responsible for technical sourcing and contracting position responsible for developing objectives, policies, and procedures for negotiating, sourcing, and the management of contractual documents enterprise-wide.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for corporate wide tactical policies and operational effectiveness and establishing business relationships with technical vendors or customers.
Provides leadership and direction through managers and advises management of contractual rights and obligations and may provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
Provides leadership in development of strategies, contract negotiations, service sourcing, quality management, technical roadmaps, process simplification and automation while achieving company operational efficiency cost savings goals.
Responsibilities include sensitive negotiations, custom commercial offers, revenue generating opportunities, and strategic roadmap alignment.
Functional areas of responsibility include implementation of fiduciary controls, consistent application of existing policies, process improvements, management of contractual agreements and organizational effectiveness.
Responsible for the corporate wide strategy and operating effectiveness of the overall technical contract and sourcing process including Finance and Compliance to corporate guidelines.
Engage with BU clients across enterprise to integrate new technology requirements and remain aligned on strategies.
Education: Preferred Masters degree in Business or related field.
Experience: Typically requires at least 10 years experience and supervisory experience.
