Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area. You will also assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices. May assist Kitchen Attendant as needed.
Job duties:
Cleans kitchen area including:
- Ware washing and storage
- Pot washing
- Deep cleaning of kitchen and equipment
- Performs storeroom maintenance including:
- Receive, store, issue food items from storeroom
- Rotate stock in storeroom
- Maintain cleanliness of storeroom
- Delivers Food and Beverage carts to appropriate areas as needed.
- Performs general “heavy labor” as required by Executive Chef.
- Completes set-up work for special events.
- Complies with all sanitation policies and procedures such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
- Performs duties in a timely and efficient manner and on a schedule determined by kitchen and dining operations.
