About the Role



The Senior Manager of Brand Strategy will ensure the consistent implementation of the Sam's Club brand value proposition throughout all marketing work and will work across categories and lines of business to ensure that brand expression and messaging consistently align with established guidelines and support the company's broader strategic goals.



What You'll Do:



  • Develop and implement clear, comprehensive brand guidelines that reflect Sam's Club's core values and mission. Work with leads to establish a brand vision that serves as a foundational guide for all brand communications.

  • Act as gatekeeper of Sam's Club's brand, reviewing messaging to ensure consistency in tone, style, and voice across all channels. Maintain alignment with brand standards across digital, in-store, and other communications.

  • Communicate Sam's Club's brand guidelines, standards, and vision to external partners and agencies, ensuring their work aligns with the established brand identity. Provide direction and feedback to maintain the integrity of Sam's Club's master brand in all external-facing materials.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and product development, to embed brand standards within initiatives and campaigns. Provide guidance on brand positioning and messaging to support cohesive, brand-driven strategies.




What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing brand guidelines, with a deep understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and storytelling.

  • Ability to oversee and review brand-related content with a meticulous eye, ensuring all messaging aligns with Sam's Club's brand identity and vision.

  • Skilled in working with cross-functional teams and external partners, with the ability to clearly articulate brand standards and vision.

  • Ability to bring a strategic perspective to brand development, while also crafting creative guidelines that support innovation within brand parameters.

  • Experienced in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure brand consistency.

  • Familiarity with the dynamics of retail branding and experience working within membership or consumer-driven brands is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
