We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Defined Contributions operations team. This role will be based in Boston or Denver. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This position has general responsibility for completing daily, monthly, and ad hoc processes in support of overall team. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including but not limited to, Client Service, Legal and Compliance, IT, and management on annual testing, audit, and other annual legal filings. Answer inquiries from clients on the status of participant and plan activity as well as work with Mercer approved vendors.
We will count on you to:
Manage daily morning processes
Provide operational support to internal and external clients
Support client implementation team to deliver payroll and operational process support
Work directly with vendors for annual compliance testing and audits
Perform client reporting
Perform periodic plan reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of client invoices
What you need to have:
A minimum of five years of experience in 401(k) administration
Prior experience with ERISA regulations
Good communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
Previous experience with 401(k) record keeping
Annual Compliance experience

All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $54,000 to $108,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
