Summary:
The Product Manager works with a tight-knit team of engineering, product, operations, marketing, and other business stakeholders to grow the experience for the administrative platform. This role focuses on evolving the platform to meet consumers' needs which involves the full product life cycle from ideation to development to launch. This position is a key contributor to own one of the organization's highest-priorities - expansion of Onyx's capabilities.
Main Accountabilities:
Own and lead the Onyx product roadmap (consumer-facing and internal-facing apps), and feature prioritization for core platform
Define and evangelize the product roadmap, aligning on the outcomes in tandem with other leaders in the organization -- thereby enabling our team to define and execute the output, features, and products that consistently deliver value to our customers
Responsible for shipping all product capabilities on the roadmap.
Own the stakeholder communication for risk mitigation, issue resolution, and escalations
Establish, implement, and monitor best practices and rigor in the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) that optimizes for impact on our business, velocity, and throughput
Lead and facilitate cross-functional alignment, strong relationships, and a feeling of inclusiveness in the PDLC with leaders from Engineering, Operations, Marketing and other supporting teams
Work directly with key stakeholders, gathering feedback, requirements, and insights into future platform development and integration
Lead the team to deliver the roadmap through agile sprint cycles, breaking down the product roadmap into executable stories and requirements
Define success metrics and consistently measure the impact of the team's work
Qualifications
7+ Years of experience in Product Management in a consumer software company
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and instruction
A strong background in product management and a passion for building delightful consumer product experiences
Deep customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution
