The Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing WSFS Bank's cybersecurity intelligence and incident response efforts. This role involves managing a team of cybersecurity professionals, developing, and implementing strategies to detect, respond to, and mitigate cyber threats, and ensuring the organization's information systems are protected against unauthorized access and cyber-attacks. The incumbent will lead and manage cybersecurity incidents and crises, ensuring minimal impact on the organization. Also, the incumbent will collaborate with other departments to establish robust security policies, conduct regular risk assessments, and stay abreast of the latest cyber threat intelligence to proactively address potential vulnerabilities. Additionally, the Manager will coordinate responses to security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, develop comprehensive reports to inform senior leadership, and guide strategic decision-making.



This position is required to be in the Wilmington, DE office 5 days a week.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Create and execute a comprehensive cyber threat intelligence and response strategy to protect the organization against cyber threats.

  • Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, including analysts, incident responders, and threat hunters.

  • Manage day to day incidents and on-call rotation.

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Direct and coordinate the organization's response to cyber incidents, ensuring effective containment, eradication, and recovery by serving as leader of CSIRT.

  • Oversight of risk assessments and breach simulation to identify and mitigate potential cybersecurity threats to the organization.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and industry partners, to enhance threat intelligence and response capabilities.

  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the organization is compliant with relevant regulations and best practices.

  • Oversee the development and delivery of cybersecurity training and awareness programs to educate employees on best practices and emerging threats.

  • Oversee the evaluation, implementation, and management of cybersecurity technologies and tools to enhance the organization's threat detection and response capabilities.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on cybersecurity incidents, threat intelligence, and response activities to senior management and relevant stakeholders.



Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in CIS, Comp Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, or similar technology discipline and/or equivalent amount of years of work experience.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP and Security+ are preferred.

  • Prior banking and/or financial services industry experience preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity which includes a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and frameworks.

  • 5+ years of experience in incident response management which includes proficiency in incident response processes, detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.

  • Minimum of 5 years' of management and/or Team Lead experience managing a team of information security professionals.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).

  • Must have extensive knowledge of the current threat landscape, including emerging threats, threat actors, and attack vectors.

  • Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, XDR, and firewalls.

  • Knowledge of threat intelligence methodologies, sources, and tools for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence.

  • Must have an understanding of risk assessment and management techniques to identify and mitigate potential threats.
