Description: As a Senior Mixed Signal Electrical Engineer, you will:
Design and Develop: Create and refine electrical printed circuit boards (PCBs), analog and digital circuits, and electronic equipment including sensors, motors, radar, and navigation systems.
Architect and Simulate: Develop system architecture, design circuits, and perform simulations to ensure optimal performance.
Layout and Verification: Conduct physical layout of circuits, verify designs, and perform rigorous testing to ensure reliability and functionality.
Lifecycle Support: Engage in various engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Translate project and system requirements into well-defined hardware architectures, working with cross-functional teams.
Design and/or complete instruments including microprocessors, power, and analog components.
Innovatively solve issues, drive project completion to schedule, and collaborate with other technical contributors.
Build and test prototypes, debug, and prepare documentation for manufacturing and support.
Research and enable innovative solutions for cutting-edge designs.
Engage with other engineers and partners to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions for products.
Drive solutions to complex problems with limited direction - contribute to requirements development, propose ways forward, and adapt appropriately to changes in requirements.
Independently perform complex electronic architectures and designs.
Provide insight and suggest design modifications based on simulation results.
Identify program/system-level technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
Manage tasks with multiple engineers and effectively communicate status to project leadership and customers.
Actively mentor less experienced engineers and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proficiency in electronic design, microprocessor, or embedded computing.
Understanding of design and general computer architecture.
Ability to write detailed design specifications.
Computer programming and coding abilities.
