The primary responsibilities of the Business Architect Advisor include consulting and guiding the identification of business value through the holistic conceptualization and refinement of business strategy, analysis, planning, and design of manual and automated solutions.
Essential Functions
Provides services to multiple internal stakeholders and external customers to enable business agility, such as capability identification, impact and gap analysis, information synthesis, current and future state modeling, and progressive elaboration.
Advises on the development of objectives, analyzes options to address value gaps, and reviews recommendations for changes to current business capabilities.
Plays a crucial role in enabling the translation of business strategy into transformed business processes and operational tools for global effectiveness.
Collaborates with business and technical architects at all levels to align on common goals and solutions.
Mentors business architects.
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree/equivalent in engineering, business information systems, computer science, or other quantitative discipline.
Minimum Experience
Six (6) years of experience with a minimum of four (4) of the following areas: applications development or maintenance, transportation/logistics operations, business analysis, business process modeling, business object or logical data modeling, business and/or it standards/processes, metrics design/analysis, software design. Advanced experience with architecture techniques in a wide range of projects and complexities. Experience working with business capability or enterprise analysis.
