The Opportunity
As a Junior Finance Business Partner, you will support senior business partners in designing and preparing financial and budget analyses, with a focus on learning and contributing to key financial processes.
Key Job Responsibilities
Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts under the guidance of the senior team members.
Financial Analysis:
Support financial analysis by gathering data and performing preliminary evaluations of business performance.
Assist in identifying and understanding key performance indicators with senior team guidance
Reporting:
Help create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key financial metrics.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for management review.
Financial modeling: Collaborate on basic financial modeling tasks to support senior team members in evaluating scenarios for business improvement.
Deviation analysis: Provide support for variance analysis by collecting data and collaborating with operations and accounting teams on explanations.
Investment analysis: Assist in preparing data and supporting materials for capital investment analysis with senior guidance
Ad hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's not needed).
2-4 years of relevant experience; internships or entry-level roles in finance are acceptable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with PowerPoint; SAP/PowerBI experience is a plus but not required.
Strong desire to learn and grow in financial analysis.
Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
