Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineering Designer. Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in the design of the mechanical systems for healthcare, higher education and commercial building type projects. Involvement within project teams from schematic design through construction on projects, reviewing shop drawings and related submittals, coordinating with other disciplines in all phases, and directing the production of the projects. Other responsibilities include keeping up with trends in engineering and attending professional development events. Ideal candidates will have attention to detail and a strong desire for organization. Opportunities to grow, updated engineering standards and advance to project management.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program. 5+ years of experience in the engineering field preferred.
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam preparation preferred, but not required. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license and willingness to use insured person vehicle in the course of employment.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit required. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and with a strong work ethic and personally driven to consistently meet project design and performance goals. Ability to work independently as well as with various disciplines and types of people and committed to being an effective, contributing team player
