The ideal candidate is responsible for preparation of GADrawings as well as detailed design drawings (2D & 3D) for variousequipment. This includes performing preparation of all necessary BOM and otherrelated documentation. Interaction with the multi-disciplined engineeringand design project team, utilization of applicable technical company standardsand company software, i.e. CAD 2D/3D, and MS Office software. Preparation ofEquipment Arrangement Drawings for systems.

Responsibilities:
Mechanical design of process equipment with 2D/3D CAD Systems (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) in accordance with EDG and client specific design standards
Preparation of general assembly drawings in accordance with EDG and client specific drafting/design standards
Preparation of detailed design drawings including preparation of related bills of material, enter BOM
Cooperation with multi-disciplined engineering and design/drafting team
Preparation of Equipment Layout Drawings for systems/plants
Preparation of electrical documentation as a support to electrical and instrumentation deliverables creation
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related disciple) or appropriate course work toward a BS in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related discipline) required;
Appropriate certification in related drafting software may be considered in lieu of education requirement
Expertise in mechanical design of process equipment
Experienced and enthusiastic CAD user in 2D and 3D (AutoCad / SolidWorks)
Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel)
Fluent in English language
Focused on cost, quality, efficiency within design of equipment
Experience related to facility layouts and facility utility placement as it relates to the process being supported
Prefer to have some experience with Electrical schematics, Piping and Instrument Diagrams.
Opened minded for complex design engineering challenges and changed requirements.
Structured and professional working skills
